I am currently a PhD student in the Health Professions Education Research at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation/The Wilson Centre, University of Toronto. I am also an assistant professor in the department of Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto. I practice as a Physical Therapist in my own private clinic. I completed a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy at the University of Toronto and a Masters of Clinical Science from Western University. My research focus is on interventions that aim to improve alignment between assessments/the culture of assessment and the development of adaptive expertise in healthcare professionals.
My favourite book is at the moment is Project Hail Mary. My favourite podcast is Bananas because I love being that person with headphones in who is walking around laughing out loud.
In my free time, you’ll find me exploring the unlimited adventures offered by the city of Toronto with my husband and son (often on our family set of very hip non-electric scooters). I love good food and refreshing beer. I also love to charge my ‘nature battery’ anywhere with good nature. When I’m lucky, this involves a trip back to the Rocky Mountains outside Calgary where I grew up.
